Kids Care is St. John's Catholic School Before/After School Program

Kids Care provides care for St. John’s students before and/or after their regular school day at St. John the Baptist Catholic School. Parents have the option of utilizing just before school, just after school, or both. Full-day care is also an option on non-school or release days.
It is the program’s goal to develop a partnership between parents, children, and staff. Kids Care is designed to be recreational, educational, and flexible enough to meet the individual needs of all children served. Each child will be offered choices for creative, physical, and social growth through activities in art, science, sports, games, creative dramatics, and quiet time.
Kids Care’s mission is to offer parents who work or go to school a Christian, caring, safe, supervised, recreational, and enriching environment for their school-age children.
Before school care begins at 6:45AM and runs until 9:00AM. A morning snack is available each morning. This is just a snack and does not substitute for a well-balanced breakfast. Kindergarten students are escorted to their classroom at 9:00AM. Morning activities include gym, art, free choice, and outdoor play.
After school care begins when the school day ends at 3:40PM and runs until 6:00PM. A nutritious snack is served after children check in.  Afternoon activities include gym, art, free choice,  and outdoor play.
Kids Care meets each day in the Parish Center (school cafeteria). Parents drop off and pick up their children using the Parish Center entrance (Door #3) near the school playground. For liability purposes, parents MUST sign their children in and out each day.
The Kids Care program begins on the first day of school and runs through the last day of school. We ask that families commit to a schedule (minimum of two days per week) so that we can staff the program appropriately.
Kids Care charges will be processed on your family FACTS account monthly. The 2019-2020 Fee Schedule for the St. John’s Kids Care Program can be found HERE.
