The School Advisory Council (SAC) is made up of volunteer parents who apply to serve a three-year term on this board that works intimately with the Pastor, School Principal, and Preschool Director. Their objective is to cast vision, determine the future direction of the school, and play an active leadership role by serving on various committees. Those committees are Marketing, Finance, and Technology.
SAC Objectives
Be a champion and advocate for furthering the mission of the school
Assist with marketing and engage in community outreach to support enrollment and advancement of the school
Provide consultation to the pastor and principal on matters of policy
Support school administration and parish finance on annual budget and tuition
SAC 2022-23 Highlights
Training and alignment on SAC responsibilities with the Archdiocese
Reviewed and updated SAC bylaws (last update was 2012)
Provided input on tuition rates and school calendar for next school year
Revised subcommittees to align with goals of school; those subcommittees are now:
Catholic identity - Our true north is always driven by the Catholic faith
Marketing/communications
Finance
Advancement/enrollment
Community life - Extracurricular activities and athletics
