Some of the programs and events that Youth & Young Adult Ministry has to offer are:
Middle School "Encounter"
Middle School youth (grades 6-8) gather the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of the month in the Atrium for large and small group sharing, activities and games from 6-7:30 pm; Begins October 6.
High School Youth Group
All high school youth (grades 9–12) are invited to attend High School Youth Group led by Sr. Fabiola in the youth room on Wednesdays from 6–7:30PM for faith sharing, learning, service, and social time. Meets the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesdays of the month. Begins Oct. 6
New candidates (entering 9th grade or older) register to attend once-a-month confirmation prep small groups that meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month only from 6–7:30PM. Begins Oct. 13, 2021. Youth who attend public high school are required to also register to attend High School Youth Group on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.
Deadline to register is September 29.
Extreme Faith Camp
An amazing Catholic week long summer camp experience for youth grades 6-8 with high school leaders.
Summer Stretch is designed for youth entering grades 6-8 with high school leaders as an opportunity to serve and have fun with friends new and old! Stretchers are in small groups led by 2-4 high school/college teen leaders.
Cana Family Institute for Mothers of Young Children
The Cana Experience is specifically designed for parents of young children, helping them to fulfill their calling to marriage and parenthood in all its fullness.
The Temperament God Gave You (TGGY)
Discover how understanding temperaments will develop in us greater compassion and communication skills, equipping us to more effectively encourage, motivate and strengthen our spouse and children.
Mothers of Young Children (MOYC)
Join a group with other moms to reflect on the Gospel, church teachings, and principles that are relevant to family life. The four years are consecutive as each builds on the previous one.
TGGY: January 2022 - May 2022
MOYC Year 1: November 2021 - May 2022
(TGGY is not a prerequisite for MOYC, but it is highly recommended to do TGGY first.)
