"Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst."
- John 6:35
Eucharist defines us as who we are as a Church. It is the summit and source of our life as Catholics. From the Eucharist, we find both our identity and mission as the Body of Christ nourished by Jesus Christ.
Family-centered preparation for First Eucharist is offered to children in second grade or older "to strengthen in them an awareness of God's love of the call to participate in Christ's life and in His sacrifice, and of the gift of the Holy Spirit" as set forth in our Archdiocesan guidelines. Children should be enrolled in either St. John the Baptist Catholic School or Religious Education.
Registration for first sacraments will be coming soon! For questions, please contact the Director of Evangelization and Faith Formation at [email protected] or call 952-890-9465.
Adults desiring to receive the Eucharist, be confirmed, or to become a part of the Catholic church through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) please contact Liz, the Director of Evangelization and Faith Formation, at [email protected] or call 952-890-9434.
