Parish Governing Bodies
Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative body composed of representatives of the entire parish community and offers counsel to the Pastor in matters that affect the spiritual and educational well-being of the parish as identified in its mission statement. The Parish Pastoral Council is appointed by the Pastor in collaboration with the current Parish Pastoral Council after a period of discernment. The Parish Pastoral Council generally meets on a monthly basis.

The Parish Finance Council is a group of parishioners who offer counsel and recommendations to the Pastor on financial matters as they relate to the life and mission of the parish. Greatly involved with the Parish Finance Council is the Parish Business Administrator. Members typically have a financial accounting or business background and are appointed by the Pastor. The Parish Finance Council generally meets on a monthly basis.

Parish Board of Directors
Besides the Parish Pastoral Council and the Finance Council, every parish has a Board of Directors. The members of the Board of Directors of a Parish corporation include the Archbishop, Vicar General, Pastor, and two lay members. These lay members are also called Trustees. These five persons constitute the corporation and, according to the certificate of incorporation, have the power to transact all business of the corporation. From a more practical perspective, the Board of Directors is the body which signs any official and binding legal agreement as well as archdiocesan reports.
The current lay trustees are Craig Schoenecker and Mark Pederson.
