We proudly welcome you to
St. John the Baptist Catholic School

St. John the Baptist Catholic School provides an outstanding Catholic education for students entering Preschool through Eighth Grade built on five characteristics of excellence:

A Welcoming Christ-Centered Community
Academic Excellence
Dedication to Stewardship
Committed Educators
Opportunities to Grow and Lead

Community, like Jesus intended, extends into friendships built of faith and love that go beyond the students and into the families of St. John's.
Educationally, St. John's is striving to develop 21st Century learners through advanced curriculum and meeting students where they are at in a fast-paced learning atmosphere. An average class size of 18-20 students allows our educators to truly know each and every student to serve them well in their education.
As loyal servants of God, students are taught and shown that giving back is a vital component of our school community and it is woven into the fabric of our lives as students and stewards.
Our dedicated teachers are committed to each individual student achieving success. These compassionate educators teach a challenging and competitive curriculum by providing hands-on instruction in a supportive environment.
Respect, eye-contact, manners, politeness, and honor are essential parts of making an excellent leader. These lessons in civility are modeled by our staff and expected from each student. A good leader exemplifies Jesus by communicating with these positive traits. These characteristics develop growth and vibrant leaders.
St. John’s Steppingstones is a child-centered preschool that provides enrichment and school readiness in a program that reflects the moral and spiritual values of the enrolled families. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds. All faiths are warmly welcomed here. Our program is designed to be child-centered, to encourage a balance of activity - structured and spontaneous - to provide enrichment that encourages school readiness. We emphasize life-skills, acceptance of differences, school preparedness, and the values of Catholic families. Our environment is designed to stimulate play, intellectual development, risk-taking, social interaction, physical development, language proficiency, spatial perspective, and respect for Catholic values.
“St John's school has been nothing but a great school with a great community and support. It is a place where my kids can be themselves, learn morals and values, be challenged, treat others and be treated with respect, and come out a better person. My kids have loved St. John’s and I believe it is a great foundation for education, even if you are not Catholic.” -SJB parent
When students graduate from St. John’s in 8th grade, they are academically prepared to succeed in high school and they’ve grown into young Christian students from a school that supports both their educational advancement and their spiritual development. St. John the Baptist Catholic School is successful from Preschool through 8th grade due to the greater faith community that generously helps the school (ie. our parishioners care and contribute); the teachers and dedicated staff that are focused in their ministry to educate children; the parental community that sacrifices to send their children to a school they believe in and volunteer their time to enrich the experience; and our pastor, whose leadership, prayer and presence are physically and spiritually visible.
