Parish Board of Directors

Besides the parish pastoral council and finance council, every parish has a board of directors. The members of the board of directors of a parish corporation include the Archbishop, Vicar General, Pastor, and two lay members. These lay members are also called trustees. According to archdiocesan law, “these five persons constitute the corporation and, according to the certificate of incorporation, have power to transact all business of the corporation.” From a more practical perspective, the board of directors is the body which signs any official and binding legal agreement as well as archdiocesan reports.

The current lay trustees are Craig Schoenecker and Mark Pederson.
